The Words We Use On Facebook

If you were to ask my family and friends who talks the most, me or my husband, I would “win”, hands down. The same holds true for our online life. While Donnie spends time on Facebook and does comment on his friends’ walls, he posts very little in the form of status messages.
Recently, I checked out the Most Used Words app and was not surprised at my results, but then I decided to check out the words my husband used the most in his status messages. The list is short, but it brings warm fuzzies.

Here are our most used words on our individual walls:

For the Family I Do Not Know – A Poem

Don’t hold back
because common acquaintance
holds pain in your heart

There are things you do not know
Over 40 years of things…
To be inexact
and
truthful

He held back
tears, though sometimes
his tears escaped

As much as he believed his absence
was the best for you,
He felt the shame and the pain

YOU are why he stood by ME

To never again cause the heartache
Only an absent father can

Please don’t hold back
For I will never speak
as though your pain
is less than what it is.

From the time I saw your picture
I have longed to know you.

You are my blood.
And you will always be in my heart.
